His show airs regularly on voice America and features nonprofit organization leaders speaking about their issues and how to get Tinney’s listeners involved I their causes. Tinney tries to create a positive space for good works on the radio where everyone can help the great causes of Tinney’s many guests.

Tinney has a unique perspective on life from his experience as a Fortune 100 company sales manager owning a brokerage firm, and running a nonprofit organization called Spread Peace, an organization he formed with his wife Tysha in 2008 to try to end homelessness in the United States. He brings this blend of business moxie and compassionate community service to his talk show every week.

Chris Tinney - Helping the Less Fortunate

Chris Tinney has been a successful stock broker, social media campaign manager, and co-founder of a nonprofit organization called Spread Peace. In addition to the name of the organization urging its supporters to do good in their community, Tinney also asks his supporters and those who are looking for ways to help in their community, “Who can I help today?” This driving question is what drove Tinney and his wife Tysha to found the nonprofit organization Spread Peace in 2008. Since then, it has been working in the Reno and Las Vegas communities, as well as several others, on ending poverty and homelessness.

Chris Tinney says that the first step to getting people to pitch in and help with this crucial issue in all urban communities throughout the United States is to raise awareness of the struggles that all homeless people deal with on a daily basis. Tinney is passionate about his work and he believes that he can substantially lower the number of homeless people who die every day on the streets of some of our largest cities in the United States. According to Chris Tinney, almost 40,000 Americans have died homeless in 2015. He believes that it is up to him and those he works with to put a dent in this number, one community at a time, until everyone has at least a chance to survive in one of the richest countries on Earth.

Chris Tinney is the co-founder of Spread Peace, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness and poverty in the United States with his wife Tysha. The couple started the organization after traveling the country in 2008 to work with local nonprofits to help raise awareness of the various challenges and plights that homeless and poor people face every day in American society, one community at a time. They recorded their journey and posted the videos on YouTube. These videos include interviews with community leaders and those trying they helped along the way.

Although Spread Peace has traditionally been involved in the homeless community and homeless issues, Chris Tinney has helped steer the organization into helping other campaigns and nonprofits with other issues as well. As the organization has grown over the years, it has taken on more causes and campaigns. Tinney is grateful for the community support and the hard work and dedication by all of his volunteers and staff members working in the field every day to solve real problems for those less fortunate than them. Chris Tinney lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada where he took one of his Spread Peace ministries after a few years in Reno. Today, his work with Hotei Media as the Managing Director aids his crusade to raise awareness and help those in need in his community and beyond.
